African American Shorts

Mon. December 15, 2008

Tonight while I spend my last week editing and working ’round the clock, I discovered a gem of a program on TV. KCAL 9 is airing a series of African American Short Films. And I will tell you, I am a fan! The gentleman who wrote, directed, and starred in his own film about slogging through the desert to find water to dip his hair pick in is a certifiable genius. The next best part about the series is that they flash “remaining time 2 minutes” on screen as if to say, be patient, this crap’s almost over. Maybe they could adopt that with other shows that are much harder to watch like Dr. Phil.

My countdown to leaving LA is creeping up. 4 days left at my day job, 7 days left to finish the little ceo sequel, and 15 to move all my crap to storage. I’m heading to dry, mountainous Colorado for a bit where there is certain to be some serious change of pace. Like how ever will I find water for my hair pick…
